Sergei Bubka (tennis)
Sergei Bubka (born February 10, 1987, in Donetsk, Ukrainian SSR, USSR) [1] is a Ukrainian professional tennis player. He is a member of the Ukraine Davis Cup team and is coached by Tibor Toth, who is also the coach of Sergiy Stakhovsky. Sergei Bubka is also the son of famous pole vaulter Sergey Bubka.
Career summary
His biggest success so far in his career was beating the 5th-seeded Ivan Ljubičić in the first round of the 2011 Dubai Tennis Championships (Ljubičić had to retire due to injury).
He also hit a 157 MPH serve during qualifying of the 2011 US Open, which would have been the record had the serve not been out.
